On September 30, 2025, Sigma Engineering JSC officially signed and commenced the contract package for the construction of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems as well as Fire Protection Systems at the Sunshine Crystal River project – one of Sunshine Group’s most prominent high-end real estate developments located in Ciputra – Nam Thang Long, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.
Sunshine Crystal River has been described as the “crystal by the Red River,” embodying both a prime location and cutting-edge design. Spanning over 50,000 square meters with nearly 1,000 residences, the development consists of five 40-story towers with a total floor area exceeding 150,000 square meters. The project introduces a wide range of luxury products to the market, including Sky Villas, Duplexes, commercial shophouses, and both detached and semi-detached villas. Developed by Sunshine Group – a pioneer in applying 4.0 technology in real estate management and operations – Sunshine Crystal River is designed to set new standards for modern, sophisticated, and distinctive urban living.
Overall perspective of Sunshine Crystal River project
One of the project’s most notable highlights is the Sky Villas segment – an exclusive “villa in the sky” product line, combining the advantages of penthouses and duplexes. With floor-to-ceiling glass façades, optimized natural light, and panoramic views, these residences offer a lifestyle in harmony with nature, overlooking the Red River and Ciputra Golf Course. The project’s general contractor is Hoa Binh Corporation, one of Vietnam’s leading high-rise construction firms.
Within this ambitious development, Sigma takes on the role of strategic MEP and fire protection contractor. The company is responsible for executing comprehensive systems including power supply, lighting, data and communication networks, HVAC, ventilation, water supply and drainage, swimming pools, and rainwater treatment for Towers S3, S4, S5, along with the common basement. Notably, the fire protection systems – including sprinklers, fire hydrants, pumping stations, water tanks, and automatic fire alarm systems – are implemented by Sigma in full compliance with stringent international safety standards.
To meet the complex technical requirements of this large-scale high-rise project, Sigma is applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, enabling precise simulation and control of each component prior to installation. This approach minimizes the risk of technical conflicts while maximizing installation efficiency. Additionally, Sigma has developed a customized execution strategy with phased construction, optimized logistics, and tailored safety management to ensure progress is maintained, even under the limited access conditions of the urban area.
Sigma’s participation in Sunshine Crystal River once again reaffirms its capability and reputation in the MEP sector, particularly in high-rise and mixed-use luxury projects in Vietnam. With professionalism and the commitment to “Quality – Safety – On-time Delivery,” Sigma, together with Sunshine Group and project partners, is determined to establish Sunshine Crystal River as a new symbol of Hanoi’s high-class living – where technology, convenience, and luxury converge in a perfect harmony.
