Yurtec – Sigma: Strengthening Trust, Opening New Horizons

The delegation was led by Mr. Ikumi Kobayashi, Chairman and President of Yurtec Corporation, accompanied by Mr. Takabumi Yatsu, Director of the Corporate Secretariat Division of Yurtec Corporation and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sigma Engineering JSC.
The presence of Yurtec’s senior leadership was a great honor for the entire Sigma team and provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on a longstanding partnership built over the years on trust, responsibility, and a shared commitment to sustainable values.
At the meeting with Sigma’s Management Board, engineers, staff, and employees, Mr. Ikumi Kobayashi expressed his sincere recognition and appreciation for the collective efforts of Sigma throughout its journey of growth.

Looking back on the journey so far, he shared: “As I look back on the journey we have taken together, I would like to express my deepest appreciation and recognition to all Sigma employees, engineers, and staff. Through your dedication, strong sense of responsibility, and high level of professional expertise, you have continuously built a strong track record of sustainable growth.”

According to Mr. Kobayashi, Sigma has continued to demonstrate its capabilities through major projects such as Tien Bo Plaza, as well as the strategic renewable energy project Soc Trang 7 Wind Power Project (Phase 2), which is now entering a critical stage toward completion. Behind these achievements are the dedication, sense of responsibility, and strict adherence to technical and safety standards demonstrated by Sigma’s teams.

In particular, Mr. Kobayashi highly valued Sigma’s collaborative spirit and perseverance in adhering to the stringent regulations and operational standards of a Japanese enterprise. In his view, the flexibility, mutual support, and determination demonstrated by Sigma’s people in overcoming challenges have formed a strong foundation for a trusted and closely connected partnership across the Yurtec Group.

Under Yurtec’s Medium-Term Business Plan, Vietnam has been identified as a key market and one of the Group’s leading pillars of growth. Within this strategy, Sigma holds a particularly important position. “Within this strategy, Sigma is at the very heart of our efforts. Following the meeting at HUD Tower, the Yurtec delegation continued its visit in the afternoon with a site inspection at The Senique Hanoi Hotel, one of Sigma’s prominent ongoing projects.

At the construction site, Yurtec’s senior leaders directly reviewed the progress of MEP works and listened to Sigma’s project team share updates on construction progress, technical requirements, and solutions being implemented to ensure the quality of the project.

From conversations at the office to footsteps on the construction site, the visit offered a more comprehensive perspective on Sigma’s capabilities — where strategic direction, rigorous standards, and commitments are translated into tangible work every day.

Most importantly, meeting Sigma’s engineers directly and observing the project execution firsthand gave greater meaning and weight to Mr. Kobayashi’s recognition. Behind every project are people who work tirelessly every day to uphold every standard, meet every milestone, and deliver on every commitment to quality.

The year 2026 has marked a series of proud achievements for Sigma while also opening up new expectations for 2027. Mr. Kobayashi expressed his confidence that, with the strength of unity and a wholehearted commitment to their work, the Sigma team will continue working alongside Yurtec to achieve new goals. “The coming year of 2027 will bring many more opportunities and take us to new heights. I am confident that, with our strength in unity and our wholehearted commitment to our work, we will continue to achieve many more remarkable successes together.”

As the working day came to a close, from conversations at HUD Tower to footsteps at The Senique Hanoi Hotel construction site, two different settings told the same story: a Sigma that continues to grow stronger through capability, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility.
