On the construction site of Ben Tre V1.3 Offshore Wind Farm

Ben Tre is well-known for the land of coconut. Coconut is found in many places, but Ben Tre is still a feature. Referring to the land of coconut, perhaps everyone knows that the poet Le Anh Xuan - the son of Ben Tre - has sent nostalgia through the poem of Coconut! with verses like flowing from the heart: “Coconut, coconut! How old are you / the green leaves up until now / I hear the ancient wind calling / the rustling of leaves or the sound of the sword”... Now, Ben Tre is not only prominent for the beauty of the coconut or the gratitude of the Ben Tre people but also by a series of renewable energy projects are being emerged here.

In Ben Tre, Ben Tre V1.3 Offshore Wind Farm is one of Sigma's key projects with a capacity of about 30MW, expected to go into operation by the end of the first quarter of 2021. With a team of qualified and specialized engineers Sigma is trying to bring the project on schedule. The main items are being constructed at the project such as:

1, Turbine foundation
a, The piling part

• 100% complete

b, The foundation concrete part

• Completed 1 foundation, 1 foundation has completed 90%
• 05 foundations are making pile caps and bottom reinforcement.  Expected completion of the section: early December 2020

2, 110KV transmission line
a, Line foundation

• Completed 38/43 foundations. Expected completion of the section: in October 2020

b, Column construction

• Completed 26/43 columns. Expected completion of the section: in early November

c, Wire pulling part

• Start making. Expected completion of the section: in mid-November

3, Category: TBA V1-3 and expansion of Ba Tri substations
a, TBA V1-3

• The workload is about 95% completed. Expected completion of the section: in October

b, The expansion of Ba Tri substations

• The workload is about 90% completed. Expected completion of the section: in October

4, Category: Buildings and landscape
a, Rest house

• The workload is about 80% completed. Expected completion of the section: by the end of November

b, TBA controller

• The workload is about 85% completed. Expected completion of the section: in October

c, Operator

• The workload is about 75% completed. Expected completion of the section: in October

d, Storage

• The workload is about 70% completed. Expected completion of the section: in October

e, Fountains & Landscape

• Construction is scheduled to begin in October 15-20 and be completed by the end of November

5, 22KV transmission line

• Construction is scheduled to begin in December and be completed in March 2021

6, Category: Boat Wharf

• The completed work is about 90%. Expected completion of the section: in October.
