Sigma was continuously awarded due to excellent implementation of occupational health and safety program in Unilever, Bac Ninh

Passing all other professional local and international contractors, Sigma honored to take on M&E system for Unilever Home Care Liquids, North Vietnam project in April, 2016. During 2 months here, Sigma’s effort was recognized significantly when Unilever has rewarded Sigma 2 times continuously due to excellent implementation of occupational safety and health program.

Normally, Unilever always has encouragement policies for partners in the project development teams to finish work better. One of these policies is monthly evaluation to select the best team implementing excellently occupational health and safety program with the aim of recognizing the efforts and strengthening the implementation of occupational health and safety program. Through 2 evaluation times on 1^st June and 24^th June 2016, Sigma was selected for reward by the investor.

There are the criteria which Sigma finished excellently to be rewarded:

Comply with Unilever’s strict rules and regulations
Abide by all safety requirements throughout
Be hardworking, enthusiastic at work
All Sigma’s individuals have his own good consciousness about building a safe working environment
Meet total daily and weekly working-hour per month

Daily meeting on occupational health and safety program

Training in fire protection, safety

It can be said that this project has high standards in occupational health and safety, in particular the LEED standards (*) and Unilever’s safety standards HSE400 are applied.

(*) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a rating system devised by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to evaluate the environmental performance of a building and encourage market transformation towards sustainable design.
