After nearly two years since the launch of the British University Vietnam project (BUV), up to now, the M&E works under construction at the talented hands of Sigma workers has been officially accepted and put into use, marking the completion of the first phase of this "million dollars" project. Beginning in September, the campus will welcome more than 2,000 students; this will amount to more than 7,000 when all the construction phase is complete.

Surrounded by green and embracing urban areas, BUV’s Ecopark Campus is just over 10 km south-east of Hanoi, offering many interesting and lively experiences in studying and researching, such as lecture hall, library, administrative complex, sport complex… with many M&E works executed by Sigma.

Overview of BUV project in the 1st phase

With a total investment of US $ 70 million for all three phases, BUV's new Ecopark facility will provide Vietnamese students with an international education experience. Not only are the classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as the X-Space Room, the Lecture Capture System also supports students in their research and academic studies. BUV also focuses on students' self-study and entertainment space with private classrooms and 24/7 classrooms.

BUV's teaching methods also focus on creating the most practical learning experience for students by investing in building complexes that simulate 100% of the actual work environment. This special work allows students to practice regularly in the process of study, no wonder when entering the labor market.

Most notably, the library space is designed to more than 1,000 m2 which is installed by Sigma, where students can access a wide range of English books in the genre, imported directly from abroad. Much of the area is reserved for recreational and sporting spaces with football pitches, basketball courts, ... to enrich the lives of students outside of intense classroom hours.

To mark this important milestone, the British University of Vietnam held the inauguration ceremony of the new Ecopark campus on September 15, 2018 with many interesting activities, with a title of “entering the new era”.
