Purpose of the audit:
- Review the suitability of the company’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) documentation system.
- Assess the operational performance of the system, determining the effectiveness and efficiency of the QHSE management system.
- Identify strengths and detect non-conformities to make necessary adjustments and changes to meet the standards' requirements and the company’s operational context.
- Serve as a basis for maintaining the validity of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
Scope of the audit:
- Head Office: Evaluate the entire QHSE management system and operational results of office departments.
- Tien Bo Plaza project: Inspect quality, environmental, and safety management processes on site.
- Gold Mark City Tower C project: Assess environmental and occupational health management aspects.
Standards include:
1. ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Standard
- Organizational Context: Understanding the organization, its context, including the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
- Quality Management System: Assess the scope of the system and current quality management processes.
- Quality Objectives and Planning: Evaluate the company's quality objectives and plans to achieve them.
- Leadership Review: Examine leadership roles, commitment, and senior management responsibility towards the quality management system.
- Internal Audits: Review the implementation of internal audits and corrective actions for identified issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the improvement process, addressing non-conformities, and enhancing the performance of the quality management system.
2. ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management Standard
- Environmental Aspects: Assess environmental aspects related to the company’s activities and control measures.
- Compliance Obligations: Examine compliance with legal and regulatory environmental requirements.
- Environmental Objectives and Plans: Identify goals related to environmental protection and plans to achieve them.
- Operational Planning and Control: Review management and control measures to minimize environmental impact.
- Resource Management: Monitor the use of energy, water, paper, and other resources.
- Emergency Preparedness and Response: Evaluate the company’s capability to respond to environmental emergencies.
3. ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management (OH&S) Standard
- Hazard Identification and Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Review measures for identifying hazards and assessing occupational health and safety risks.
- Worker Consultation and Participation: Assess worker involvement in OH&S activities and evaluation processes.
- OH&S Objectives and Planning: Evaluate objectives related to occupational safety and health and the implementation plan.
- OH&S Operational Control: Review safety risk control measures during operations, including working at heights, electrical work, and handling chemicals.
- Emergency Response: Examine the readiness and response to emergency situations concerning safety and health.
4. General contents
- Review changes since previous assessment: Confirm the correction of non-conformities from previous assessments.
- Documented information: Check the accuracy and completeness of documents and records related to the management system.
- Measure and evaluate compliance: Monitor, measure, analyze and evaluate compliance with ISO standards.
The above contents are carefully checked throughout the assessment process to ensure that Sigma continues to maintain and improve the management system according to ISO standards.
Assessment process
The assessment program is conducted by a team of experts from BSI, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truc, Mr. Vu Van Khiem and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong. The review began with an opening meeting at the headquarters on 09/09/2024, then continued at the projects from 12/09/2024 & 13/09/2024. Key activities included:
- Reviewing management documents.
- Interviewing the project management team.
- Visiting the construction site and directly assessing the implementation of safety, quality and environmental management measures.
