Sigma Engineering JSC is closely coordinating with contractors, authorities, and the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting to continuously update the developments of Super Typhoon Yagi. This enables Sigma to provide quick and accurate instructions during the response process.

2. Ensure electrical safety at the construction site
- All power lines are elevated to avoid contact with rainwater.
- Employees are required to use full protective equipment and strictly comply with electrical safety regulations when working in wet conditions.
- The construction power supply will be cut off at the end of each day’s work or when signs of the storm appear.
3. Protect materials and equipment
- Materials and equipment at the construction site will be padded, carefully covered, and securely anchored to prevent damage from strong winds and heavy rain.
- Sigma has directed that materials should not be stored in dangerous areas such as balconies, roofs, or near edges to ensure safety.
4. Check drainage and lightning protection systems
- Temporary drainage systems at construction sites will be carefully inspected to prevent flooding from prolonged heavy rain.
- Temporary lightning protection systems will also be maintained to ensure stable operation in harsh weather conditions.
5. Safety measures at the office
- Before the end of the workday, all electrical equipment at the company office and construction sites will be turned off and unplugged to prevent short circuits.
- Files and documents will be stored in locked cabinets to avoid storm-related damage.
- Windows and doors will be checked and closed to prevent water from entering.
6. Activate flood prevention and emergency response teams
Sigma has established flood prevention and emergency response teams at construction sites to monitor and respond swiftly when the storm makes landfall. The teams also ensure that support vehicles and rescue tools are ready for use in emergencies.
