Green bamboo,
How long have you stayed so green?
Since ancient tales… bamboo groves have always been.
Your body, thin; your leaves, so slight,
Yet you form ramparts, strong in might.
Wherever you grow, you thrive with grace,
Even on barren, rocky base.
For generations, the bamboo tree has symbolized the Vietnamese countryside—unyielding spirit, resilient vitality, and unwavering loyalty to the homeland. Inspired by this image, The Marc 88 was conceived as an iconic structure, where national spirit harmonizes with contemporary architecture, rising to become an architectural highlight in the heart of the capital.
Located in the new western center of Hanoi—a hub for dynamic multinational enterprises—The Marc 88 stands as a beacon of prosperous development, positioned as a modern icon of a city undergoing a dramatic transformation. The project features strong cultural symbolism with the image of bamboo subtly stylized in its façade. Slim aluminum louvers running along the building resemble traditional bamboo joints, harmoniously blending with a modern glass system and sky gardens, evoking the sense of a bamboo forest rising amid the urban landscape—vibrant, resilient, and full of identity.
The Marc 88 comprises 27 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels, integrating functions such as high-end apartments, international-standard hotels, Grade A offices, and a modern shopping center. With a total gross floor area of over 31,700 square meters, the project is meticulously invested in spatial quality, construction standards, and advanced technological solutions.
Notably, at dawn on June 14, the topping-out ceremony for The Marc 88 officially took place in a solemn and urgent atmosphere. This event marks a significant milestone in the construction journey of this iconic project, attended by leaders of the main contractors: Sigma (MEP Main Contractor), CC1 (Main Construction Contractor), BMW (Façade Contractor), and ICA (Fire Protection Contractor). The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Project Management Board, consultants, contractors, and technical engineers—those who have tirelessly followed the schedule day and night to safely and punctually bring the project to completion.

As the MEP Main Contractor, Sigma is honored to be responsible for the execution of all key technical systems, including electrical, water supply and drainage, air conditioning and ventilation, fire protection (FPP), building automation, and the building management system (BMS). These are critical systems that demand not only advanced technical capabilities but also absolute precision and tight coordination in construction management and execution. In particular, working in the confined conditions of an urban site, with high technical density and immense schedule pressure, presents stringent challenges—requiring Sigma to maximize its project management capacity, flexibility in coordination, and comprehensive quality control.
The Marc 88 is not just a residential–office–commercial development, but also an architectural statement embodying national spirit in a modern form. In this creation journey, Sigma’s imprint is vividly present, serving as clear evidence of its construction capability, dedication, and ambition to accompany landmark projects.
