Sigma received news of winning the bid for the Micro Commercial Components Vietnam Factory project

On May 31, 2024, Sigma continued to affirm its position in the field of M&E when officially collaborating with the "big boss" Micro Commercial Components Vietnam (MCC Vietnam) through the installation of an FF system & M&E Systems at Micro Commercial Components Vietnam factory, at Lot CN2-1 Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, Tam Giang Commune, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province. The presence of the MCC semiconductor factory will contribute to the development of the semiconductor ecosystem in Vietnam, enhancing the country's position in the semiconductor supply chain.
The semiconductor equipment manufacturing and assembly factory project is invested by Micro Commercial Components Vietnam Co., Ltd., belonging to Yangjie Technology (China) - a manufacturer of high-quality semiconductor products, headquartered in Simi Valley California (USA). The project at Yen Phong 2C Industrial Park is MCC's first factory in Vietnam and the 7th factory in the world.

With a scale of 8 hectares and a total investment of 100 million USD, MCC Vietnam will produce and assemble semiconductor equipment (including photovoltaic, surface mount, and signal products), supplying Huawei partners, BYD, Philips, Sony…
MCC Vietnam's semiconductor components factory is an important part of the high-tech industry development strategy of Bac Ninh province. With eager and advanced investment, this project contributes to improving semiconductor component production capacity, promotes local economic development, creates jobs, and improves the quality of life for people.
In specific, the fire protection and M&E systems are crucial factors in ensuring the safe and effective operation of the factory.
