"A drop of blood given, a life left behind" - it seems that this noble gesture only appears in the stories of our grandmothers and mothers when we were children, but now, when we grow up and become adults, the spirit of national solidarity has been spread at Sigma Engineering, permeating the lives and ideals of Sigma people working here. For that reason, the 4th Voluntary Blood Donation Program continues to be lit up by Sigma every spring, opening a new year full of love and hope.

Our nation stretches across a curved S-shaped land full of sun and wind. Therefore, the Vietnamese people have had to endure countless natural disasters: wars, storms, floods, fires, famine, and especially disasters and diseases. Birth - aging - sickness - death, that immutable law does not apply to anyone and each person must walk in different ways. There are many unlucky people who unfortunately fall into difficult situations and need blood urgently, such as patients in traffic accidents, organ transplants that require a lot of blood, or babies with congenital hemolytic disease... then only the drop of blood we give can bring hope and life to those people, saving them from the brink of death. However, just a small act like donating blood can change a life, and that is something worth appreciating.

With the approval of the Company's Board of Directors, the fourth Red Sunday Program will continue the valuable tradition of the Sigma family on January 21, 2024, at the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Nursery (NIHBT). This is a program to implement social responsibility "CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility" for the community & patients whose lives are being saved or prolonged by Sigma's own red blood. The program encourages people to donate blood to save the lives of people facing health difficulties. The spirit of solidarity among Vietnamese people has been clearly demonstrated in participating in this program.

"Giving to receive more" is the thought and feeling of those who have volunteered to donate blood. Furthermore, donating blood does not have a negative impact on health, but also helps increase new blood formation, reduces iron overload, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and cancer. The amount of donated blood will be quickly regenerated by the body to serve the circulatory process. Donating blood does not take much time or effort but is very beneficial for health and is essential for society. Each of us will be an "Ambassador of kindness", sharing our blood to help the sick so that they have the opportunity to live or prolong their lives, considering it the joy and responsibility of each person. Sigma members with the community.

Blood donors not only contribute their part but also inspire and encourage others to participate. It affirms that each person's life is important, and we should help each other in all circumstances. “A drop of blood given, a life left behind” also reminds us that life is a precious gift and we should cherish it. Donating blood not only saves the lives of others but is also a way for us to appreciate the value of life and contribute to the development of society.
