Organized firefighting exercises at Imperia Smart City project

In early May 2021, employees of Sigma Engineering JSC under the Imperia Smart City project organized fire drills and training program, with the desire to well implement the fire prevention and firefighting (FPF) work and raise awareness, role and responsibility of the staff.

Specifically, Sigma Contractor has cooperated with the Management Board and other contractors to invite the fire prevention unit No. 1, Hanoi police to carry out the rehearsal program.

Attending the program were representatives of the Project Management Board, project supervision consultant, the contractors including the Construction contractor - Ricons, M&E contractor - Sigma Engineering JSC, Window contractor - BMW and Wintech. At the rehearsal, in addition to providing information on major fires, causing particularly serious damage to people and property that occurred in Hanoi in recent years, the reporter passed on gaining basic knowledge about fire prevention, fire and explosion causes and some fire protection measures at the office and at home.

In addition, employees at the Imperia Smart City project are also instructed to use on-site firefighting equipment, escape skills, and fire-fighting measures to put out a hypothetical fire in basement 1, P8 tower of the project.

Under the guidance of Fire Police No. 1, employees at the project were able to use powder and C02 bottles to extinguish the fire and know how to quickly handle possible situations.

The organization of fire drills and training program is also an opportunity for employees at the Imperia Smart City project to improve their understanding and sense of responsibilities for FPF activities, thereby proactively in fire protection and ready to respond to all possible fire and explosion situations during the construction of the raw part of the project.
