On the construction site of Ben Tre V1.3 Wind Farm project at the beginning of the rainy season

According to the announcement from the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam, the flow in the Mekong River in the first months of the year is in a shortage compared to the average for many years, especially in 2016 from 5 to 20%, due to low water level in Tonle Sap (Cambodia), the ability to replenish water for the Mekong Delta is not much.

Saline water intrusion in the Mekong Delta, in general, and in Ba Tri and Ben Tre areas, in particular, continues to be fierce, affecting production and daily life, causing a shortage of fresh water for domestic use and cultivating, making the lives of the people of the West, as well as the construction site of the Ben Tre V1-3 wind power project, face many difficulties. In early June 2020, the first showers of rain brought many people here many hopes, but it was a new challenge for Ben Tre wind farm project when workers and engineers Sigma faced and constructed in typical weather conditions of the South. However, these difficulties cannot beat the tenacious will of Sigma people, but also a motivation for Sigma members in Ben Tre project to overcome difficulties to create new limits for themselves, committed to reaching the goal on schedule.

From June 15 to June 20, 2020, Ben Tre project has achieved many important milestones:

Site clearance:
- Completing the TBA factory area of V1-3 Ben Tre and expanded Ba Tri TBA
- Complete the whole ground of 07 locations of Turbine offshore
- Complete 27/43 positions of line pier foundation
Construction work on the construction site of the V1-3 Ben Tre:
- Levelling works:
  - Completing the area of TBA factory in Ben Tre V1-3
  - Completing 330m / 1000m of roads outside the station
- Station construction item:
  - Expansion of Ba Tri substation: Ongoing stripping of organic layers to prepare for site levelling;
  - Ben Tre Substation: Deploy the construction of the fence walls, the fence of the stations, the foundation of equipment piers.
- 110KV line works:
  - Complete 17/43 positions of pier foundation
  - Production of steel poles: Manufacturing the first batch of 21/43 columns expected on June 26, 2020 to transport to the project for installation.
- Wind turbine pier foundation
  - Position T1: Complete 21/43 bored pile
  - Position T2: Complete 9/43 bored pile
  - Position T3: Complete 4/43 bored pile
  - Positions T 4, 5, 6, 7: Complete 1/43 bored pile
  - Foundation bolt: Has been gathered to the site
