If round 3 of the SCL 2023 football tournament saw a rain of goals and penalty cards, in round 4, the clubs played much more closely and beautifully with only 2 yellow cards/4 matches.

Opening the 4th round with the series of matches E2 - M&S on field number 1 and M1 - M2 on field number 2. On field number 1, although rated higher than M&S, with the absence of a few pillars, E2 encountered many difficulties against M&S players. Unable to impose an offensive stance, the E2 players also conceded a goal against M&S. Awakened after an early defeat, E2 players pressed their squad to attack and equalized 1-1 before the end of the first half. Entering the second half, M&S once again took a 2-1 lead with a very sharp combination and finish. M1 still temporarily maintained the top of the rankings when excellently defeating M2

On field number 2, with the addition of additional forces combined with the squad in high form, M1 showed superiority over M2 with an offensive stance that dominated the opponent. The deadlock remained until the first half of the match before M1 players scored 2 consecutive goals to end the first half with a 2-0 lead. Entering the second half, still playing the familiar attacking style, and holding the game, M1 had one more goal to ensure victory before allowing M2 players to score an honorable goal in the final minutes of the match. A gentle 3-1 victory helped M1 Club maintain a position at the top of the rankings.

The focus of the 4th round is the confrontation between E1 - M3 on field number 1, a match between the top two teams in the rankings and is considered a "6-point" match. E1 is still, as usual, a proactive club with a familiar attacking style of play and dominating the match. But M3 is always a very annoying opponent for teams to face. In a rare attack, a corner kick with an accurate header, M3 scored a surprising lead against E1. Receiving the first goal, the E1 players raised their squad high in search of an equalizing goal, but what they could do were just unfortunate misses and 2 balls that hit the opponent's crossbar, entering the break with a disadvantage in the chasing position. In the second half, it was still a one-sided attack from E1, M3 retreated deep into the defensive formation and waited for mistakes from the opponent. And what they needed also came with an exemplary counter-attack, the E1 net vibrated for the second time in this match. Receiving the second goal, the spirit of E1 players gradually became impatient and inaccurate, and the attacks were blocked consecutively. On a day when the strikers played with low performance and lacked alertness, along with the excellent defense and goalkeeper M3, E1 could not find a way into the opponent's goal once, accepting their first loss in the tournament and being surpassed by their opponent on the SCL-2023 rankings.

E1 accepted to lose to M3 with a score of 0-2

On field number 2, the evenly matched match between E3 - Safety is predicted to contain many surprises as both clubs have a very young, enthusiastic force and are both very thirsty for points. E3 showed its high determination when manager Dung.dd directly held the compass to direct the players on the pitch. Although it was not the team that dominated the match, E3 suddenly scored the opening goal after goalkeeper Safety's blameworthy mistake, keeping a 1-goal advantage before the end of the first half. Entering the second half, while unable to find an equalizing goal, mistakes from the defense caused the Safety players to receive 2 more goals, leading with a quick difference of 3 goals. What the S players did was just an honorable goal in the final minutes of the match. With the victory, the gap between E3 and the top is only 3 points, and they can completely advance to the next rounds if they maintain their current spirit of determination.
