Being one of the world’s leading suppliers of fast moving consumer goods, to meet the need of a growing market in Vietnam, Unilever is planning for a Home Care Liquids Plant with total investment of VND 850 billion.
Once again, Sigma proves our outstanding capability in constructing M&E projects by winning the whole M&E package for Scooter 2 Project – New Home Care Liquid Plant North Vietnam. The factory will be put into operation after 24 months of construction. Apart from the main building, there will be utility rooms, pump house, tank farm, firewater tank, security room, water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant and the boundary fence. Other facilities, building services and utilities are also included. M&E system for all areas of the factory will be conducted by the skillful technicians from Sigma Engineering JSC. A special feature in the design and execution of M&E system of this plant is the requirement to meet Leed standard, an international standard of green architecture based on many standards aming at design, construction, operations and maintenance of resource efficiency, high performance, health, cost-effective buildings, which improve the flecxibility of the falicity to adapt to the change.
CUSTOMER’S AND PROJECT’S INFORMATION
Unilever Home Care Liquids, northern Vietnam factory (Scooter project) is the first new investment project (greenfield) that Unilever Vietnam sets up in the North, with more than 4 ha area , this plant is expected to produce Homecare liquids with a capacity of approximately 120,000 tons / year. Construction site is located in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) - Tu Son - Bac Ninh - Vietnam.
