Sigma responds to the Corporate Ethics Month 2023

On October 1st, 2023, Mr. Yoshiharu Ota, Representative Director, and CEO of Yurtec Corporation sent his sincere thanks to all employees, group companies, cooperative companies, etc. for their hard work and dedication every day. Subsequently, he accentuated that October of each year was selected as “Corporate Ethics Month” and has been promoting activities throughout the corporate group to further spread and establish awareness of corporate ethics and legal compliance, as an occasion to review the regular work of everyone and the sector.

In recent years, there has been no end to scandals at our company and group companies, and harassment cases are on the rise. Therefore, there is once again a strong need for each employee working at our company and group companies to raise their awareness of corporate ethics.
 
To promote the creation of an organization that does not overlook inappropriate behavior, Sigma is currently working to build a better workplace culture. We are taking various measures to cultivate a “Culture of speaking up" as part of our efforts to create a workplace culture that does not tolerate inappropriate behavior. Sigma is conducting numerous procedures to adopt a “Culture of speaking up" as a workplace culture to achieve this goal.
 
Hence, if you are experiencing harassment or see or hear inappropriate behavior around you, please speak with your manager. The managers are required to take the initiative in setting an example, communicate with employees through active encouragement, and strive to create a workplace where employees can talk about anything.
