Sigma implemented safety training program at The Legend project

“Human resource is the most important asset of the company”, it seems to have always been a factor in the success of Sigma over the years, as well as in the future development. Sigma always considers human resource is one of the main factors that contributes to the sustainable development of the business.

In order to ensure the quality of inputs as well as to provide adequate information on safety to employees, on the morning of April 11^th, the safety training was held successfully at The Legend project, 109 Nguyen Tuan Street.
Safety activities are attended by Sigma becuase that is a solid basis for us to minimize the risk in the future. Attending the training session were the representatives of Safety Committee of Sigma Engineering JSC and the Team Leader and workers of the subcontractor.

The specific content in the training program included:

Introduction about the company, goals and policies
Introduction about the project
Guidelines for work permits
The site rules
Guidance on PPE regulations and usage
Guidance on the location of areas, exits and gathering point
Electrical and operational safety instructions
Safety instructions for working at height
Safety instructions for controlling crane
Working at a small workplace
Unearthing
Fire Protection
Environment and waste management,...
Guide to handle accident cases: electric shock, falls, chemical poisioning, burns,...

At the end of the training session, 100% of the participants had a basic understanding of the policies and regulations on labor safety and how to handle the risks in the labor process...that make a significant contribution to the success of the project.
