Working atmosphere at Sigma sites (part 2)

After the two projects, which are West Bay Sky Residences and British University Vietnam (BUV), the reporter group continued to move on to other Sigma projects to explore the work of engineers and workers at Sigma sites.

We were at Swire Cold Storage Vietnam in Bac Ninh around 7 am, the working atmosphere in this place was extremely bustling. In front of us, the site office of the project intermingled with the morning sunshine.

The reporter group was honored to follow Mr. Tran Huu Tai - Safety Supervisor to attend the safety investigation along with the client and other contractors. He said "The safety investigation takes place daily at the project to ensure that the works must be done safely and effectively. Especially at Sigma, occupational health, environmental safety is one of the prerequisites, always on top. "

At the end of the investigation, Mr. Le Thanh Lam – HSE Officer of Royal Haskoning DHV engineering consultancy had a meeting to improve the safety of the project. He seriously remined and pointed out the mistakes during the construction progress of the contractors and also gave the compliments to Sigma - M&E Contractor of the project who always adhered to the regulations on safety at the project.

The team also had a chance to visit the project's storage before ending the journey to Swire Cold Storage. Mr. Le Van Vung, the storekeeper of the project, also had a brief talk with reporters: "Although the scale is not as extensive as other projects, but the staff in Swire Cold Storage project always try to arrange the storage be clean and tidy as possible. After being received, the materials and equipment will be divided into categories and classified into separate areas.”

Goodbye Bac Ninh and Swire Cold Storage project, the reporter group continued to move to another Sigma project. We were at An Thinh Hotel project near noon, but the working atmosphere here was still very urgent to handover to the investors in the late September.

After ending of the meeting, the reporter had a short talk with Mr. Luong Thanh Trung – Site Manager of An Thinh Hotel. He said “The site manager is not just the leader who always lead the project on the right track, but also the brother, the soul of the whole project. In order to accelerate the progress of the project, I always have to make the plans to solve the problems and raise the morale of the workers at the project. "

At An Thinh Hotel, we had an opportunity to visit the site to better understand the working atmosphere here.

Outside, the weather was so hot, but it couldn’t be as hot as working atmosphere here. In spite of the sweat dripping, on the construction site, the workers still worked diligently with a spirit of passion and enthusiasm.

Not only Swire Cold Storage and An Thinh Hotel project, Sigma employees all over the country are working hard to bring customers the best products, affirm the reputation and brand of Sigma with the client and other contractors.
