On 25^th, September 2016, in the course at the University of Firefighting & Prevention, Sigma class attended a practical training in firefighting protection and extinguish the initial fire.

In this practical lesson, trainers - FFP experienced police guided specifically how to use flour jar, CO2 container to extinguish a fire; use nozzle, steering to cure fire walls.

Sigma class participated actively, all officials, members of the class took part in doing fire fighting work, extinguishing the fire with means such as: powder fire extinguisher, gas fire extinguisher, nozzle water, fire extinguishing blankets, ...

Some basic points need remembering about Firefighting Process
When detecting fire, perform the following sequence of steps:
S1. Alarm
S2. Cut electric at fire area
S3. Using available means for fire fighting
S4. Call 114 (This step can be performed simultaneously with Step 3).
How to call: Dial directly 114 on your desk phone or mobile phone, without the area code. However, in the area bordering the provinces / cities, recommend additional area codes to avoid interference. Note: Just zip code, network code is not required. Example: 0511.114 (not 0511.3114)
S5. In case you cannot extinguish the fire, leave the room and shut the door. Objective: Escape from the fire; close the door to limit oxygen supplying source for the fire.
S6. Find escape exits. At the building, escape exits are usually directed EXIT.
S7. Aid to victims.
S8. Rescue and protect assets.
S9. Catch fire trucks and organize firefighting.
S10. Field Fire Protection (serve the investigation later if needed).
