On May 6, 2026, at the Tien Bo Plaza project, Sigma collaborated with Turner to organize Safety Stand Down 2026 – an annual safety event simultaneously implemented by Turner across projects worldwide at the beginning of May each year.

The program was attended by representatives of the Investor, Turner Project Management team, and all officers, engineers, and workers from contractors currently working on the project. This meaningful activity aimed to enhance safety awareness, strengthen the culture of occupational safety, and reaffirm the commitment to building a safe, professional, and people-centered working environment.

The Safety Stand Down 2026 event at the Tien Bo Plaza project was themed “All In Together: Recognize – Respond – Respect”.

With the theme “All In Together: Recognize – Respond – Respect,” Safety Stand Down 2026 focused on conveying the message about the role of every individual in proactively identifying risks, responding promptly to unsafe situations, and building a workplace founded on mutual respect.

In the program speech, Turner representatives emphasized that safety is not only the responsibility of the Safety Department or site management team, but a shared responsibility of all parties involved in the project. Every individual, from managers and supervisors to frontline workers, plays an important role in maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment.

The message “Recognize – Respond – Respect” was consistently highlighted throughout the program through three key focuses. First was the proactive identification of potential hazards during construction activities, including risks related to working at height, electricity, lifting operations, falling objects, fire and explosion, machinery, as well as factors affecting mental health and concentration at work. In addition, the program encouraged timely action when risks are identified, readiness to stop work if safety conditions are not ensured, and proactive communication from all individuals to prevent incidents. Lastly, the program promoted a respectful working environment where everyone is heard, cared for, and confident in sharing concerns related to occupational safety.

Through Safety Stand Down 2026, Sigma once again demonstrated its commitment to accompanying the Investor and partners in promoting a strong safety culture at the project site, considering occupational safety as one of the core values throughout project implementation.

Overview of Tien Bo Plaza project

Beyond focusing on construction quality and progress, Sigma consistently prioritizes building a professional, disciplined, and safe working environment, with the highest goal of ensuring that every worker can work safely and return home healthy after each working day.

Safety Stand Down 2026 concluded with the message: “Recognize Early – Act Promptly – Respect Everyone – Improve Every Day,” continuing to spread the spirit of responsibility and safety culture to all project participants.
