Sigma Spring Cup final round: Celebrating the “new king”

After days of fierce competition, Sigma Spring Cup Football Cup officially found the new owner for the championship. On May 21st, 2017, Safety excellently carved his name on the championship of the season after the penalty with E1. Bang B Stadium emotionally burst before the sudden victory of the "red imperial guard" – Safety.
In the bright summer sunshine, the final matches of the Sigma Spring Cup 2017 took place extremely dramatic and attractive. The opening round of the tournament is two games of seventh prize competition between E2 and E3 and the fifth prize competition between E4 and M3. The defending champion of the season – E2 did not maintain the manners when succumbed to E3 with a score of 2-1, at the same time, the “back horse” E4 also accepted to be a looser before M3 with the score of 3-1.

After that, there was a third prize competition between M1 and M2. The match was exciting when M2 played a more dominant role and continued to create the controversial moments. However, luck did not smile when both teams couldn’t win the game after the official match. Stepping into the penalty M2 knocked down the opponent with a score of 5-4 and brought a bronze medal of the session.

The final round was a confrontation between the two rivals: E1 and Safety. Based on the history of confrontation between the two teams, E1 still took an advantage with more goals than Safety. However, in the most recent confrontation, Safety has confirmed its ability to have a convincing victory over E1 with the score 3-1. Therefore, it seems that no one can predict anything before the game. The atmosphere of the finals was warming up just after the footballers came to the stadium, the national flag fluttering in front of the wind, the national anthem eagerly resounds urging two teams on the road of golden trophy.

The first half took place with a flaming fire, both teams approached the match with a smooth, coherent match. The defense system of both teams seemed to be very solid, so there was no goal scored in the first half. After a short break, E1 made the squad and excelled in front of a goal into the Safety’s net.

The “red imperial guard” refused to submit. Just minutes later, Safety quickly scored a goal to equate the score 1-1. The two official matches have passed without any added goals. E1 and Safety must overcome the penalty shootout on the penalty spot 11m.

As Iker Casillas, former goalkeeper of Real Mandrid, once said: "Shootout is like a lottery game," the lucky god smiled to the Safety players when winning the penalty shootout. Finally, the match ended with 4-3. The happy tears rolled down on the check of Safety team because after three years, they are again on the podium glory, engraved its name on the champion Sigma Spring Cup.

During the closing ceremony, representatives of the organizers have summarized a successful season, which organized professionally showing the size of Sigma Engineering. The teams have done their best, demonstrating the spirit of fair play, honesty and determination, giving the audience a good performance. Besides, the enthusiastic support of the fans is also important factor to create a great atmosphere during the tournament.

The Champion - Safety
So another successful football season ended. In order to have a large, professional, attractive tournament, it is a great effort of the members of the organizing committee, support groups, players and supporters of the teams.
