Right after the opening ceremony, Lang Bang B Stadium erupted with the opening clash between E1 and Safety. On one side stood defending champions E1, rich in achievements and eager to defend their crown. On the other side was Safety, blending the youthful energy of Gen Z with veteran experience, determined to reclaim the glory after their Sigma Spring Cup 2024 triumph. Two teams, two different styles, but one goal—victory—promising the audience a thrilling football feast to ignite SCL 2025.
The match between E1 - Safety ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of the white team
The kickoff whistle had barely blown when both teams immediately pulled the crowd into an intense tug-of-war. Just 10 minutes in, the first turning point arrived. From a set piece after a Safety foul, midfielder Duc Canh delivered a precise pass to striker Le Hoang Long, who unleashed a shot to open the scoring 1-0 for E1. The stands erupted with the first goal of SCL 2025. But E1’s joy didn’t last long—just seven minutes later, complacency in the white-shirted defense was punished. Young defender Van Hoang, a new signing for Safety, struck accurately to level the score, sending the match back to square one and heating it up even further.
E1, however, showed the composure of champions. Minutes later, the familiar duo struck again with the same formula—Duc Canh’s pass and Hoang Long’s movement. Le Hoang Long shone once more, firing in a lightning finish to restore E1’s lead at 2-1. The first half thrilled the audience with relentless exchanges and uncompromising clashes between the two clubs.
In the second half, both sides created notable chances, but E1’s solid defense and sound strategy, combined with Safety’s lack of luck in decisive moments, kept the score unchanged. The match ended in a dramatic 2-1 win for E1—a spectacular opener that showcased the strength of both teams on SCL 2025’s opening day.

In the final fixture of the day, fans turned their eyes to Pitch 1 for the clash between M&S and M3. From the opening whistle, M&S—with their strong lineup of new signings—pressed aggressively. A wave of chances was created, but for much of the first half, M3’s defense held firm. On the slippery, rain-soaked pitch, both sides found ball control challenging.
M&S had a perfect start when they beat M3 with a final score of 4-0
The deadlock was finally broken when striker Dinh Huy fired precisely to put M&S ahead 1-0, lifting immense pressure from the pink-clad players. The goal galvanized M&S, unlocking the door to victory. Soon after, Dinh Huy struck again to complete his brace. Before halftime, Van Cuong added another to make it 3-0.
